Meaning of Notice (What it is, Concept and Definition)

Notice is a written act in which determinations, notices, citations and other official communications are presented.

Normally, notices are posted in public places or announced through the official press, usually in large-circulation newspapers, for general knowledge or for some interested parties.

There are several types of public notices, which receive their own name, depending on their purpose. A notice can communicate a quotation, a proclamation, a contract, a waiver, a bid for works, services, price quotation, and so on.

However, the most common or popular public notices are those for public tenders, which govern all the factors and stages of the selection processes, as well as the skills necessary for their execution.
