Transfer (or transfer) is related to the act of transport. The most common meaning associated with the term is the transfer of a person's remains, or from one grave to another, or even from one country to another.
The term also applies to the translation of one language, that is, the transport from one language to another, for example, translating from Portuguese to German. It also refers to the act of transcribing or copying, for example, translating a deed or a certificate.
Moving companies, transporters, also use the term in situations of transporting objects and people from one point to another.
Another sector that uses the term are tourism agencies, in an association between air and maritime transport, and buses and private cars, hired to take customers to the hotel or other places covered in the road map.
Finally, to transfer (or transfer) also means to postpone or transfer, for example, to transfer the trip, indicates a date change, that is, a postponement.
