noob(or n00b) is a slang meaning “noob”. It is popularly used in online gaming communities by more experienced players when they want to refer to novice players or selfish or ignorant players. It can be quite offensive when used to designate a person without the ability to win the game, as it acquires the meaning of asshole or dumb.
It is slang is used especially in games, however, the term noob with pejorative meaning has been used among adolescents in everyday situations, serving to describe a person without intelligence or common sense.
