Meaning of Father (What it is, Concept and Definition)

Father is a word with Latin origin pater, and represents the father figure of a family, or the parent of a person.

The concept of father is quite broad, and it is not restricted to a person who is the biological father someone. One adoptive father or one foster father, despite not having generated his son, he is still a father.

In society, a father has the function of loving and educating a child, responding to their most for their healthy development in terms of physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual.

When the word parent is capitalized, it usually refers to God, and some expressions used to describe God are: Eternal Father, Heavenly Father, father of love etc.
