Off road means off road, and is an English term used to designate sports activities, practiced in places that do not have paved roads, sidewalks or any urban structure, or an easy path access.
Off road sports are done by people who seek contact with nature, and also with the objective of overcoming the access difficulties and obstacles imposed by nature itself, for example, mud, stones, erosion, steep climbs and descents, flooding and so on. Some sports practiced are the 4x4 motorcycle, also called quadricycle, in competitions known as rallys, motocross, etc.
Off-road sports are always practiced by people who like to be always feeling adrenaline, speed and danger. Most practices are done on motorcycles, 4x4 vehicles, jeeps, pickup trucks and other appropriate vehicles.
Off-road sports are dangerous as there is no safety structure. Therefore, practitioners need to make sure that the vehicle they are in has all the protection, in addition to basic safety equipment.
