passion and love

The distinction between love and passion has been studied by countless philosophers and psychologists over the years.

Plato, for example, claims that passion is the desire to envision something that does not consist of essential reality, that is, to be content to live with an imaginary ideal.

On the other hand, love is configured as the search for the essential truth, in other words, finding in what you love what you lack, thus becoming full and complete.

Some psychologists still say that, even though passion is an intense emotion, it is considered ephemeral. usually lasts between two to three years. At this point the passion can come to an end or turn into love, which can last (or not) a lifetime.
