THEME: Friendship, accepting differences!
YEAR: 2nd Series
GOALS:
The purpose of this friendship lesson plan is to teach a lesson in how we should accept each other's differences.
REQUIRED MATERIAL:
- Song;
- Paper;
- Crayons.

INTRODUCTION:
- Play the music and ask each student to say a word and make a movement. Ask it to be done one by one until it stops on the student who started the movement.
- Discussion about the game: What was hard or easy about the game? Was there any sound or movement exactly the same? Was there any similarity? Why do you think we all made different moves and sounds?
DEVELOPMENT:
- With eyes closed, ask each student to imagine that everyone in the class has the same hairstyle, the same shirt, and the same parents. Ask how each would feel.
- Guide them to think of something that makes them different from each other and keep it to yourself.
COMPLETION:
- Give each student a piece of paper and encourage them to draw a picture of what sets them apart from everyone else.
- Students will discuss their own artwork, using the appropriate art vocabulary (eg color, shape/texture).
- Students will discuss how and why they made a specific artwork.
