O Leaders Study 2020 Program, a pioneering program of Fundação Estudar that grants scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies in Brazil and around the world, has extended the deadline for applications until April 13th. Registration costs R$ 150.00 and can be made through site.
Scholarships can cover a percentage of 5% to 95% of student expenses, including food, tuition, housing and transportation costs. The amount will vary depending on the student's profile, the duration and the place where you will be taking the course.
Who can participate?
People aged between 16 and 34 years old, from different areas of activity, who may participate in the selection process possess academic excellence, have the capacity to be leaders and aim for positive transformations in the country and in the world.
Applicants must also be in the process of acceptance, enrolled or attending higher education in one of the four scholarship categories:
- Completed graduation in Brazil
- Complete graduation abroad
- Undergraduate or diploma academic exchange abroad
- Graduate abroad
- Free Online Inclusive Education Course
- Free Online Toy Library and Learning Course
- Free Online Preschool Math Games Course
- Free Online Pedagogical Cultural Workshops Course
Depositions
Two participants from previous editions of Líderes Estudar were invited to participate in the online debate series exam.talks.
Gabriel Liguori, founder of Tissuelab and researcher at Incor/USP, and Ana Paula Pellegrino, coordinator of SimulaCovid, spoke about their ideas and actions in an attempt to solve the pandemic of new coronavirus.
Pellegrino developed, together with João Moraes Abreu, SimulaCovid – a demand simulator for lung beds and ventilators in Brazilian cities.
The doctor, Liguori, is working on the front lines with other scientists in tests of Vaccines and Medicines to Fight Covid-19.
