THE Udemy is one of the largest distance education platforms, with around 100,000 online courses in more than 50 languages. As a way to offer learning amidst the coronavirus crisis, Udemy launched a curatorship with 708 free courses.
The site has always had free courses, but the differential of this initiative is that it was curated to help choose a learning path for each person. Thus, the platform divided the courses into themes such as well-being and personal growth, productivity and professional skills, and essential technical skills.
Of the content selected for the action, 142 are in Portuguese, with a wide variety of courses in English and Spanish as well. Courses cover a range of areas, from Android development and programming to finance and entrepreneurship.
- Free Online Inclusive Education Course
- Free Online Toy Library and Learning Course
- Free Online Math Games Course in Early Childhood Education
- Free Online Pedagogical Cultural Workshops Course
Because they are free courses, Udemy does not provide a certificate of completion and communication with the instructor. In addition, the platform often creates special discounts for paid courses.
