Lullabies from Brazilian folklore


songs of bedtime are important for the linguistic and affective development of children. According to researcher Silvia de Ambrosis Pinheiro Machado, author of the book Brazilian lullaby: approximations, singing for children is teaching and caring for those who do not speak.

This bedtime is in itself an intimate and affectionate moment. The voice soothes, brings comfort and security, and the words slowly start to make sense. Lullabies from Brazilian folklore they guarantee this affection and are bridges to the cultural environment in which the child is inserted.
