Dumplin
The film tells the story of Willowdean Dickson (Danielle Macdonald). The young woman is an overweight girl, and contrary to what society preaches, she is quite confident with her own body!
However, when falling in love with the athlete at the school, she begins to experience a series of insecurities. It is at this point that she decides to enter a Miss Contest, in the form of a protest. Ah, great detail, her mother is an ex-miss, and their relationship is complicated.
Another great detail is that her mother is played by none other than Jennifer Aniston. And if all the synopsis and cast weren't enough, the movie's soundtrack was made by the queen of country, Dolly Parton!
In other words, the movie is a must-see!
megaromantic
Of course, a romantic comedy could not be missing from this list. The current movie stars Rebel Wilson, Liam Hewsworth and Adam Devine.
Well, Rebel lives a skeptical architect about love, romance and everything around relationships. However, one day everything changes when, jumping from the subway, she is mugged and ends up hitting her head on a pillar.
From then on, the architect wakes up “in another world”, in a romantic comedy. The film is a lot of fun and uses all aspects of the genre as a form of satire.
Beyoncé – Homecoming
It has hot production, coming out of the oven! We're talking about the Netflix original about Beyoncé. The film is about the coverage of the singer's show at the Coachella festival, in the United States.
But whoever thinks that the film only features footage of his performance at the festival is wrong. Homecoming tells the entire trajectory of the singer after the birth of the twins and her preparation for the festival.
One of the curiosities, for example, is that Beyoncé started preparing eight months before her presentation. Furthermore, another important piece of information is that the artist wrote, produced and directed her own documentary.
So if you like pop music, festivals, or just Beyoncé, the movie can't go unnoticed on your weekend.
The Perfect Date
This is another Netflix debut this month. The Perfect Date tells the story of Brooks (Noah Centineo), who to save money to pay for college, creates a “boyfriend for hire” app.
In the app, the boy serves as an escort for various events, adopting other personalities if the contractors so desire. However, as he pretends to be someone else, the boy begins to question himself about who he truly is.

The baby sitter
The film tells the story of Cole (Judah Lewis), who is in love with his nanny, Bee (Samara Weaving). One night, his parents go out and leave him with the girl.
On this night, Cole discovers his beloved's big secret: she is part of a satanic cult! Thus, the nanny and her friends do everything to prevent the boy from telling his deadly secret to others.
Annihilation
Here's another movie starring an Oscar winner. This time we're talking about Natalie Portman in Annihilation.
The actress plays a biologist who joins an expedition with three other women in the Area X region. The work is top secret and isolated from the rest of society. That's because the laws of nature don't apply there.
The site has a mysterious contamination that intrigues researchers. The women's job is to look for clues about their missing colleagues.
However, the character has a personal interest in the place: her husband was contaminated by the environment months ago, and she searches for answers.

However, to be able to deal with her problems, the woman decides to create a blog to share her experiences with other women and with the world.
Unicorn Store
Loja de Unicórnios marks the beginning of the career of director and actress Brie Larson. Already known as an excellent professional, in this Netflix feature Larson takes her first steps in the direction.
The film features her in the skin of Kit, who, upon encountering a series of life difficulties, decides to return to live with her parents. In addition, the character receives the mysterious proposal to open a store.
From then on, Kit begins to question himself about what it really means to grow up. The questioning and events since then change your life forever.
