THE Norse mythology, also known as Germanic or viking, developed in Nordic (or Scandinavian) countries. Their stories are composed of dwarfs, giants, gods, wolves, sorcerers, snakes, heroes, among others.
Like other mythologies, the Norse stands out and demonstrates great importance for the culture of these peoples. Furthermore, these stories currently inspire comics, movies, games, videos, among other products.
Among the great names of Norse mythology, one can mention Frigg (or Frigg), a goddess of fertility, love and union. Even more, protector of the family, mothers and housewives.

Frigga family
Frigga is believed to have been the daughter of the giant Fjörgynn. Also, it was married to Odin, the father of all. Together they had two children, who are: Baldr and Hóder. There is a possibility that Frigga was also the mother of Hermod, as this is Odin's son.

Frigga Representation
The goddess Frigga is represented as a very tall and beautiful woman.. Normally, she adorned her hair with feathers and around her waist, she wore a golden ribbon. In the piece, there were keys that symbolized the housewives of the region, those who were protected by Frigga. The plumes, on the other hand, represented the clouds.
Often, with the intention of symbolizing the sky, Frigga was represented with a large and beautiful blue coat. In addition, the full moon, silver, among other symbols, are also part of the representations of the goddess.
Frigga Powers
Frigga had many powers, as the gift of predict the future. But because they weren't exact visions, she kept it to herself. In addition, she was able to create a connection between friends, and could even transfer the pain from one to the other.

The goddess still managed to transform into several birds. Finally, Frigga also had a gift of natural sovereignty. With that, everyone respected her and she could still gain enough influence to conquer everyday things.
Frigga Servants
Frigga had 20 servants. Of these, the three main ones were: Hlín (goddess of protection), Gna (goddess of messengers) and Fulla (her sister and goddess of fertility). Some theories claim that these three goddesses were just manifestations of Frigga herself. Its functions were:
Hlin: She was in charge of protecting someone from harm, if requested by Frigga. Furthermore, she protected men and still comforted fallen mortals;
Fulla: She was Frigga's confidant, who took care of her shoes and her magic box;
Gnah: With a horse capable of moving around the world, she was responsible for looking after Frigga's affairs for the planet.

- Frigga wore a cloak similar to clouds. The piece changed color according to its mood;
- Besides Odin, Frigga was the only one who could sit on Hlidskialf, a throne where it was possible to see the entire universe;
- The word friday (Friday in English) originated from Friggs. This would be a day dedicated to her, so it was Frigg's day, Frigga's day;
- Frigga would cry twice in her life. The first was by her son Balder. In the future, she will mourn the death of Odin, who will be consumed by a monster during the last battle between gods and giants;

In May 1963, Frigga was first incorporated into the universe Marvel. This was in issue 92 of Journey into Mystery.
Years later, the goddess was also depicted in Marvel movies, most notably in the second movie of Thor, where she was murdered by Malekith. Rene Russo played Frigga.
