The State University of Campinas (Unicamp) made available 300 lesson plans for elementary and high schools. The content is provided free of charge by the University's Department of History. The material includes content produced for editions of the History Olympiads.
The plans contain various materials to be used in theory and practical application. Altogether, the plans were organized into six major themes.

– History of the Indians;
- Military dictatorship;
– Images of the classroom;
– Narratives of America: discourses and local dynamics;
- Free Online Inclusive Education Course
- Free Online Toy Library and Learning Course
- Free Online Math Games Course in Early Childhood Education
- Free Online Pedagogical Cultural Workshops Course
– The Brazilian Popular Song in the teaching of History.
Each theme was made available with the objectives of the classroom activity. In addition, teachers have an indication of the necessary requirements and forms of assessment. In addition to the indication of bibliography and various contents such as videos, reports, music, texts, etc.
Despite the material being offered by Unicamp, professors from several universities contributed. The team of experts formed a panel to evaluate and select content.
National Olympiad in the History of Brazil (ONHB)
As previously stated, the lesson plans are made up of materials from the History Olympics. The last edition took place in 2021.
The 13thNational Olympiad in the History of Brazil (ONHB) had students, professors, master's and doctoral students from all over the country. The event is carried out by Unicamp itself.
The purpose of the Olympics is to be a tool for researching and studying history. Themes pertinent to Brazil and the world are addressed in the event's editions, which already has more than a decade. The information was published on the university's own website.
“The main objective of the History Olympiad is to promote learning in this discipline. Thus, by making the best plans available, we seek to contribute to the teaching practice and to the activities in the classroom of professors from all over the country”, said the coordinator of ONHB and professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH) at Unicamp, Cristina Menegello.
