The syllabic division of words, in addition to representing a subject that perhaps becomes the target of some questions, is conceived as a factor of remarkable importance, given the skills we need to have in specific situations of interlocution, more precisely when it comes to language writing.
Because we emphasize this modality, it is convenient to understand that not only the division of syllables, but also also the other elements inherent to grammatical postulates, are subject to predetermined rules of composition. Because of this aspect, the purpose of the aforementioned article is to discuss how this division takes place. So, let's see:
* The digraphs “ch”, “lh”, “nh”, “gu” and “qu” belong to a single syllable. Watch:

sauce
war - ra
cheese
nest ...
* The letters that form the digraphs “rr”, “ss”, “sc”, “sç”, “xs” and “xc” must be separated. Note:
car

in the – cle

* Diphthongs and triphthongs belong to a single syllable. Check out:

col – mei – a (As far as this word is concerned, we must remember that it has lost its accent due to the new orthographic reform)

* The gaps are separated into two distinct syllables. Stick to some examples:

* Consonant clusters that occur in internal syllables must be separated, with the exception of those in which the second consonant is represented by the letters "l" or "r". Find out:
