Biofuels. Characteristics of biofuels

Biofuels are fuels with renewable sources, obtained from the processing of certain vegetables, among which we can mention: sugar cane, oil plants, agricultural residues, eucalyptus, in addition to many others.
This energy source, according to experts, is a relatively efficient alternative to alleviate various problems related to gas emissions and automatically combat the effect stove. For this, it is necessary to gradually promote the replacement of the use of fossil fuels by biofuels, not least because oil is a finite resource and that, according to researchers, should end around of the year 2070.

Currently, energy production from agricultural products is classified into: ethanol, biogas, biodiesel, forests and residues. In relation to the production of ethanol, the intention is to obtain it entirely from sugarcane. Biogas is a source of energy produced from decaying organic matter residues, such as straw, manure, bagasse from various types of vegetables or garbage. Biodiesel is a source of energy obtained from the processing of certain seeds, such as castor beans, palm oil, sunflower, babassu, peanuts and soy. Oils derived from these vegetables can be used in their entirety or added to diesel (fossil) in varying amounts.

The energy source presented is currently an alternative to environmental problems, the scarcity of oil and the high prices of this product in the international market. However, it is worth noting that the production of biofuels also acts negatively on natural environments and can also compromise the production of foodstuffs.

Do not stop now... There's more after the advertising ;)
