CTI is the acronym for Treatment and Intensive Care Center, is a unit of a hospital that continuously monitors its patients. Generally, patients who go to the ICU are those considered severe cases, or people who have just come out of surgery and need constant monitoring.
ICU is also called ICU (Intensive Care Unit) or ICU (Intensive Care Unit), and all have the same goal, to closely treat all the patients who are there, and not let them stay for too long alone. A CTI area is formed by professionals from various fields, such as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, assistants, psychologists and much more.
The CTI was created with the aim of offering support to patients who are experiencing serious illnesses, or who have little chance of surviving if they are not monitored at all times. The CTI area is always reserved, usually no family can visit and is complete in terms of equipment and help from doctors and nurses.
The most common examples of illnesses that lead patients to CTI are heart problems such as heart attacks, strokes, breathing problems, problems getting around, and more accidents bass.
