FOB is an acronym that identifies an English expression Free On Board, which means "free on board". The FOB is one of the standards established by the Incoterms and is related to the commercial exchange of a particular commodity.
In this mode of freight, the recipient (the party that buys) is responsible for the costs and risks of transporting the goods being imported. The seller's responsibility ends when the goods are delivered to the carrier or forwarding agent.
fob directed
Directed FOB occurs when the sender, despite not having the obligation to pay the freight, is a customer of a carrier and indicates to the recipient this service, so that it maximizes the volume of deliveries and minimizes costs. In this case, the shipper is also involved in freight negotiation.
FOB White Gold
FOB can also be an acronym used to refer to the Ouro Branco Foundation, created in 1985 and which has as its objective to provide quality medical services to the inhabitants of Ouro Branco and cities neighbors.
