The thaw age. Global warming and the melting era

Global warming is a natural phenomenon that occurs on Earth at certain times of the geological period. In the last century, and especially in recent decades, the situation took directions never seen before. The temperature has risen considerably, making the situation very worrying, as increased ice melt can cause major problems.

This heating process is due to the absorption and reflection of the sun's rays that penetrate the atmosphere and maintains temperature and climate cycles, thus being responsible for life in the planet. The anthropic action has intensified this natural process, that is, the human being has emitted into the atmosphere a greater amount of polluting gases, such as carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), which prevent the reflection of the sun's rays which, in turn, are trapped, increasing the temperature, especially on the surface.

This increase in temperature causes melting in various regions of the Earth and the most affected areas have been the Arctic and Antarctic regions. This is a worrying fact, because if the ice melt continues as it is, it could raise the level of the oceans, causing flooding of coastal cities. In addition, the melting can cause death of several animals, especially mammals, such as the polar bear.

Do not stop now... There's more after the advertising ;)

The melting of the Arctic has caused the death of several animals, such as the polar bear

Areas such as Greenland, in the Arctic, have felt these climate changes a lot with the increase in melting, worrying the local population. Melting ice at the top of the mountain ranges has changed the landscape of these places - where there used to be snow on top of the mountains.
