Consciousness is the term that means knowledge, perception, honesty. It can also reveal the notion of the stimuli around an individual that confirm its existence. For this reason it is said that whoever is unconscious or in a coma is unconscious.
Conscience is also related to the sense of morality and duty, as it is the notion of one's own actions or inner feelings at the moment these actions are performed. Consciousness can be related to an experience, problems, experiences or situations. For example: He was completely addicted, but he wasn't aware of it.
The concept of conscience is closely related to terms such as "I", existence", "person", revealing an existing connection between conscience and moral conscience. In many situations, it can be the opposite of self-awareness, where the "I" is the object of reflection and moral conscience.
It is possible to verify that, over time, philosophy has approached consciousness in two ways: intentional or non-intentional consciousness. According to Edmund Husserl (founder of phenomenology), consciousness is an activity directed towards something of which there is awareness. The unintentional consists of a mere reflection of the reality that is presented.
According to Descartes, thinking and thinking that we think are the same things (I think, therefore I am).
Kant distinguished between empirical awareness, which is part of the universe of phenomena, and transcendental awareness, which enables the association of all knowledge with empirical awareness.
Hegel approaches consciousness as a dialectical growth that reaches a transcendent level, reaching its overcoming. He also distinguishes between empirical, rational, and theoretical awareness.
It is also important to mention that contemporary philosophy attaches great importance to the act of conscience, giving it a more functional connotation.

Black conscience day
Black Consciousness Day is a date celebrated in Brazil on November 20th. This was the date chosen in honor of Zumbi dos Palmares, being the date on which this historical character who fought against slavery in the colonial period in Brazil died.
The day was instituted in 2011 by President Dilma Rousseff and aims to raise awareness about the introduction of blacks into Brazilian society.

It is the instant inner certainty that some attitudes are right or wrong. Conscience can also result in guilt or in happiness, depending on the moral value of the actions in question. The feeling of guilt when someone does something wrong is popularly described as bad conscience.
Some people confuse moral conscience with social conscience. Despite this, what distinguishes the two is that moral conscience has a close relationship with what is transcendent, because it is not based only on empirical data.
