Adjective and Adjective Phrases

Adjective
Adjective it is the variable word in gender, number and degree that characterizes the noun, indicating its quality, state, mode of being or aspect.
E.g.: snow White; City Modern.
It is classified into:
- Simple: when it presents a single radical.
Ex.: tasty food.
- Compound: when it has more than one radical.
E.g.: sociocultural program.
- Primitive: when it does not come from another word in the Portuguese language.
Ex.: loyal enemy.
- Derivatives: when it comes from another word in the Portuguese language.
E.g.: greenish pants.
Adjective phrases
adjective phrase is the expression formed by preposition + noun (or adverb), with adjective value.
Night rain (rainy)
angel attitudes (angelic)
rear tire (rear)
girl from Brazil (Brazilian)
