Certainly, given his posture as a language user, linguistic questions represent a reality. Given this reason, here are some tips for expressions that we use on a daily basis, in order to make you aware of the assumptions that guide them. Watch:

IN FAVOR / IN FAVOR...
Both expressions are correct, but their use will depend on the term that precedes them. See some examples:
They were neither against nor in favor of the decisions taken.
Everything was done in favor of the achievement of so many victories achieved.
ON TIME / ON TIME...
As in the previous case, both expressions are considered correct, without any damage being done to the formal pattern of the language. However, the most common is the expression "in time", as shown in the following example:
They didn't arrive in time, so they missed their flight home.

DAY / DAY...
“Daytime” refers to an action performed daily, that is, continuous work. Watch:
At the company, work is carried out around the clock.
She works in the daytime. (unlike night)

ON FOOT / STANDING / STANDING...

The expression “on foot” denotes the action of moving to a certain location without any type of vehicle. Note:
He walks on foot.
“Standing” refers to the fact of continuing, steadying, subsisting, maintaining oneself. Review the example:
Our proposal still stands, isn't it?
“Standing” refers to the act of standing upright on one's feet, renouncing to be lying down or sitting. Check out:

I managed to order the glass of water standing up.
