Speech therapy is an area of science that aims to study and research prevention techniques and methods and speech therapy, which are developed in oral and written communication, voice, hearing and psychomotricity.
Speech therapy, within its study goals, encompasses a physical phenomenon called sound, which is extremely important in its development and one of the pillars of this undergraduate course.
Physics professionals make fundamental approaches to concepts associated with sound waves.
The study of sound is done through a discipline called acoustic physics, which covers the following knowledge topics: physical measurements; vibratory and wave motion; waves; sound wave parameters; sound properties; sound propagation; Fourier series; noises; sound measurement and hearing biophysics.
