The production of fuels is a fundamental factor for carrying out industrial activities, in addition to being of great importance for human beings.
Technological advances help in the development of new mechanisms that promote the improvement of machines. Fuel, for example, is a chemical product developed to generate mechanical energy in thermal engines, increasing their efficiency.
The mechanical energy necessary for the operation of thermal engines is obtained through the combustion of fuel. This substance can be gasoline, methanol, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), diesel oil, hydrated ethanol, anhydrous ethanol, among others. During its operation, the automobile engine burns about 60% of fuel.
