Performing art. What is Performing Arts?

Performing art is a form of art presented on a stage or place intended for spectators. The stage is understood as any place where a performance takes place, thus, these can take place both in squares and streets.

Performing art encompasses the study and practice of every form of expression that needs representation, such as theater, music or dance.

The Scenic Art or Theater is divided into five genres: Tragic, Dramatic, Comic, Musical and Dance.

Do not stop now... There's more after the advertising ;)

The Tragic genre imitates life through complete actions. Drama describes human conflicts. Comedy has an ironic and contradictory side. Musical is developed through songs, no matter if the story is comic, dramatic or tragic. And dance makes use of music and expressions provided by “mimicry”.
