It is known that there are numerous colors present in our daily lives. These colors are formed by the mixtures of only three main colors, red (red), yellow (yellow) it's blue (blue), the so-called primary colors.
Making the proper mixtures, it is possible to notice that:
Red + Yellow = Orange
Blue + Red = Purple
Yellow + Blue = Green
The colors green (green), purple (purple) and orange (orange) are formed by mixing two primary colors, so these colors are characterized as being secondary colors.
In addition to these colors, we also have:
Black (black) I have a black cat. (I have a black cat).
gray (Gray) The sky is gray today. (The sky is gray today).
navy blue (Navy blue) I have a navy blue T-shirt. (I have a navy blue T-shirt).
pink (pink) my bedroom is pink. (My room is pink).
beige (beige) The walls of this classroom are beige. (The walls in this room are beige).
white (White) This is a white object. (This is a white object).
In addition to these main colors, we can still have light colors and dark colors. Ex.:
dark red
light red
light green
dark green
My mother gave me a dark green blouse. (My mother gave me a dark green blouse).
“Which color can I paint this flower, light or dark red?” (What color can I paint this flower, light red or dark red?).
"I prefer light red." (I prefer light red).
I hate dark colors. (I hate dark colors).
The sky is light blue today. (The sky is pale blue today).
My sister loves to wear light colors. (My sister loves to wear light colors).
