All in all, they are 50 European countries and some dependent territories. The countries of Europe, together, correspond to little more than 10 million km2and divide into four regions:

Regions of Europe
The European continent is divided into regions according to spatial and economic criteria. They are four the regions that comprise the European territory:
→ Western Europe: corresponds to the area of countries bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, such as the United Kingdom and France; countries that have a relationship with the Atlantic Ocean, like Belgium and Germany, and countries that are not bathed by the ocean, however, maintain a relationship with the West.
→ Northern Europe: corresponds to the area comprising Scandinavia and the Nordic countries as well as Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, for economic and cultural reasons.
→ Central-Eastern Europe: corresponds to the area of countries such as Hungary, Slovakia, Serbia, Slovenia, Moldova, Northern Macedonia, among others.
→ Southern Europe: corresponds to the area of countries that are to the south of the European continent and are bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, such as Portugal, Spain, Vatican and Turkey.

The European Union is the largest economic bloc in the world.
THE European Union it is a economic and political block, considered the biggest in the world. It is also the biggest exporter services, goods and products, making it the largest export market. This block represents the free circulation of goods, individuals and merchandise among its members and adopts a single currency: O euro. It consists of 28 countries:
