Morro de São Paulo
Every visitor who arrives in Morro de São Paulo (BA) needs to pay around R$30. It is a Tariff for the Preservation and Use of the Heritage of the Municipal Archipelago. Payment is valid for 30 days and is charged at the arrival pier or online.
Fernando de Noronha
Noronha (PE) There are also tourist taxes. Prices fluctuate between R$92.89 (for 1 day) and R$6,550.33 (for one month). If the visitor extends their stay without prior notice, they may face a fine.
Ubatuba
Ubatuba (SP) has charged an Environmental Protection Tax since February last year. Daily rates are for motorcycles and scooters (R$3.50), small vehicles (R$13), minibuses and trucks (R459) and buses (R$92).
Jericoacoara
Jeri (CE) also has its contribution to the environment. Visitors must pay R$41.50. Payment is valid for 10 days and, in case of an increase in the stay, a daily rate of R$4.50 must be paid. Everything must be done in advance on the Jijoca City Hall website.
Firecrackers
In Bombinhas (SC), the fees are also charged per vehicle: motorcycles, scooters and motor bicycles (R$ 4), small vehicles (R$ 35), utility vehicles (R$ 52.50), vans and minibuses (R$ 70), trucks (R$ 105.50) and buses (R$ 175,50).
Santo Amaro
In Santo Amaro (MA), one of the main access points to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, each visitor pays a fee of R$10, valid for 3 days.
Kite
The city hall of Tibau do Sul, responsible for Pipa (RN), started charging a fee of R$10 per visitor to Chapadão de Pipa. The amount is paid to anyone who uses vehicles there.
Abrolhos
In the Abrolhos archipelago (BA), the fee must be paid together with the value of the visits, starting from Caravelas. Foreigners must pay R$104, but if you are a resident of a Mercosur country, you have a discount and pay R$78. Brazilians pay R$52, but if you live in a municipality on the Costa das Baleias you pay only R$10.
Excursion
Some other tourist cities charge a fee for companies organizing tours. Porto Seguro and Guarujá, for example, do.
In the case of the city of Bahia, the fee for vehicles transporting groups of tourists fluctuates between R$131.54 and R$2,812.15. For the city on the coast of São Paulo, the rate is stipulated for a period of 24 hours of stay and costs between R$920 and R$4,260 – and orders must be made up to seven days before arriving at the County.
