Discovered: the quality that women value more than appearances

You might think that six-pack abs are what women want, but in reality, many appreciate gentlemanly skills like holding the door open for them.

A 2012 survey of 1,500 single women, ages 18 to 40, in Canada, revealed that more than half of them prefer chivalrous attitudes to physical appearance and a body attractive.

Classic dating still has a special place in women's hearts. Now, the only thing left to do is get men to put it into practice.

Women value simple gestures, like holding the door open for them, and they appreciate being complimented. They want men to see them in an obvious way, not just as someone they can get lucky with later.

The preference of the female public

It's clear that the dating landscape has undergone significant changes, especially in the last two decades. In a modern world, someone can find a partner in a matter of seconds if they so desire.

The days of charmingly awkward approaches in coffee shops and spending entire nights chatting seem to be behind us. The dating game has evolved, adapting to the fast-paced dynamics and options available in the current era.

As indicated by the survey, more than half of women still wait for men to ask them out (59%), open the door for them (54%), and pay for the first date (51%).

Surprisingly, women aged 25 to 35 show that they have not tried searching for love online. Despite this, technology plays a crucial role in the process of finding love.

Approximately 52% of respondents said they use Facebook to check potential dates. On the other hand, 43% assumed sending text messages with explicit content. Meanwhile, 27% revealed they had sent suggestive photos via email or text messages.

These numbers reflect the coexistence of classic dating traditions with the increasingly significant influence of technology on the way people connect and relate today.
