Most people don't like the terms “aging” and “dying”. This feeling is not new, it comes from millennia of traditions from ancient civilizations.

This peculiarly human understanding has led many men and women to spend a lot of money on plastic surgery, infiltrations and other procedures that help them “beat time”.

However, this obsession with youth not only harms health, but can also hasten people's deaths. At least, that's what a recent study claims.

The sampling carried out works with the concept of “self-perceived age”, based on the idea that people need to keep in mind that age is just a number, and that no one needs to worry so much about getting older. years.

Of the total, approximately 70% of those interviewed felt they were around 56 years old. The other 30% were made up of people whose self-perceived ages were equivalent to reality or even higher.

After analyzing these people's routines for eight years, researchers found that 25% of those who felt older died.

Meanwhile, 18.5% of those who had a self-perceived age equal to their real age had died, and only 14.3% of those who felt younger had left the earthly plane.

Furthermore, the study also found that those who feel younger than they actually are have a cardiovascular health better, as well as a more solid mental status.

Those responsible for the study claim that these results occur because feeling younger creates hopes and good expectations for the future, bringing new energy and triggering a series of positive connections in the body.

On the other hand, focusing on the passing of the years and trying to fight it at all costs is a real energy bottleneck.
