Searching for people by photos is now easier thanks to Google Images and TinEye. These services use reverse image search, where a photo file is used to find other similar images on the internet.
This method can be particularly useful, but has limitations if the person being sought does not have public photos on social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and LinkedIn.

How to use Google images to find people
To perform a search on Google Images, you must access the website images.google.com.br in the browser. After that, just click on the camera icon in the search bar and choose between pasting the image URL or uploading a file from your computer.
Photo: Google Image.
If your search returns no results, the “Find image source” option can help you locate all web pages that contain the photo. For cell phone users, Google Lens is an alternative that allows you to search for images directly through the Photos app.
TinEye: an alternative to finding images
TinEye, despite offering fewer results than Google, is an efficient tool for finding similar images on the internet. Its advantage over Google Images is its compatibility with cell phones and tablets.
To use TinEye, simply access tineye.com, insert the image link or do it. The site then displays the corresponding images and provides additional information, such as the first occurrence of the image on the web.
Reasons for not finding people by photos
If the image search is unsuccessful, it could mean that the person does not have public photos accessible through Google or TinEye.
However, there are other tools that can assist in this search. For example, Telegram’s “People Nearby” feature can be useful at events to connect with people and chat later.
