Ingredients and method of preparing pancakes

List of ingredients for the dough:

  • 1 liter of whole milk;

  • 1 ½ teaspoon of nutmeg;

  • 4 eggs;

  • 560 g of wheat flour;

  • 10 g of salt;

  • oil (one tablespoon).

List of ingredients for the filling:

  • 200 g of onion;

  • 60 ml of olive oil;

  • 400 g of tomato sauce;

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper;

  • 1 kg of ground meat (duckling);

  • 6 g of garlic;

  • 10 g of salt;

  • 30 g of wheat flour;

  • 1 teaspoon of Syrian pepper.

How to prepare pancakes

Dough preparation:

  1. In a blender, combine the milk, wheat flour, eggs, salt and nutmeg. Mix them until you obtain a homogeneous dough, then let it rest for 20 minutes;

  2. In a heated frying pan, spread a thin layer of oil using a brush. Pour about 1/3 cup of the batter and swirl the pan to coat the entire bottom evenly;

  3. Cook the dough over low heat until bubbles begin to appear on the surface. Then, gently turn it over to brown the other side;

  4. Transfer the pancakes to a plate and repeat the process, adding a little more oil to the pan, until all the batter is used.

Preparation of the filling:

  1. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and a pinch of salt, sautéing until it wilts. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute;

  2. Add the ground meat, increase the heat and brown it well. Season with salt, syrian pepper and black pepper;

  3. Add the tomato sauce and mix completely. Add the flour and mix well until you get a uniform mixture;

  4. Turn off the heat and transfer the filling to a bowl. Reserve.

Assembly:

  1. Place approximately 60 g of filling on the edge of a pancake;

  2. Fold the dough over the filling to form a bundle;

  3. Place all the bundles in a pan and bake in the oven until they are golden.

With the process complete, just enjoy your pancakes, eat with your favorite salad and have a great gastronomic experience.
