1. Halloween Crab (Gecarcinus quadratus)

If there was a Halloween flag, it would look like the Gecarcinus quadratus, a tropical crab decorated in shades of bright black, orange, purple and yellow. Although their appearance may be frightening at first glance, these crabs native to Latin America are harmless vegetarians.
