The tastiest chicken burrito you've ever seen!

For the seasonings you will need:

  • 1 teaspoon of cumin;

  • 1 teaspoon of paprika;

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional);

  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Other ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breast fillets, that is, boneless and skinless;

  • 1 medium onion chopped;

  • 2 cloves of chopped garlic;

  • 1 chopped green pepper;

  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil;

  • 4 large wheat tortillas;

  • 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese;

  • 1/2 cup of sour cream;

  • Salsa, guacamole or other optional sides.

Method of preparation:

  1. Start by cutting the chicken breasts into thin strips or cubes;

  2. In the second step, you must heat the vegetable oil using a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Once done, add the onion, garlic and green pepper, sautéing until they are all soft;

  3. Place the chicken in the skillet and season it with cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt and pepper. Cook the meat until golden, stirring occasionally;

  4. Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for a few seconds on each side to soften them;

  5. Distribute the cooked chicken evenly among the warmed tortillas. Then sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese and add a tablespoon of sour cream to each tortilla;

  6. Fold the ends of the tortillas over the filling and then roll them tightly to form burritos;

  7. Finally, serve the dish immediately and serve with sides such as salsa or guacamole.
