A man, resident of the Gold Coast region, Australia, had his post go viral on the internet after posting an image referring to a strange animal found in his home.
As stated in the publication, he was fearful about what such a creature could be. He said, during the conversation on the social network, that he found “alien thing” outside the house, in the back.

Initially, the subject believed that it was nothing more than a pile of leaves or even a piece of tree bark, however, the truth was different.

According to the man, his fear began when he saw the “alien” animal moving along the wall. His fear increased even more when he saw the bizarre creature's head.
“Please help identify and tell me if I should burn down my house. I was scared when I saw your head”, said the Australian in a post on Reddit.
After the publication, several other users of the platform spoke out, but also without knowing what animal it was.
“Oh, I also had one in my house and I was wondering what the hell it was. It looks like an innocent piece of bark, until you see it move, it's horrible,” wrote another person in the post.
However, after several comments and the repercussion of the subject about the “alien”, a user who knew the animal explained to everyone what it was and what that species was.

What was the “alien” creature found?
As incredible as it may seem, in fact the animal found does not come from outside the planet, as imagined. It's just a caterpillar moth, located quite easily on the east coast of Australia.
The user also added that the strange appearance was due to the fact that the insect builds a kind of “mobile house”. Therefore, it carries this aspect for much of its life as a caterpillar.
