You may have heard of the term in biology classes. Some arthropods they have a hard and resistant shell that covers their entire body. The structure protects them from predators, for example, and is called an exoskeleton.

However, this isn't a biology class, is it? This is an article about a technological innovation. But the situation is more or less similar.

Scientists have been creating exoskeletons for humans in recent years. They function in more or less the same way, as a “shell” that can help and provide more resistance in everyday life.

This type of technology is being used to try to restore the movement of legs and arms to people who, due to accidents or illnesses, have lost them. To do this, they use robotic structures that imitate the movement of limbs.
