Super Blue Moon: check out the BEST photos of this beautiful phenomenon

Did you look at the sky last Wednesday, August 30th? The last remnants of the month were brightened by the call Blue Moon, one Full moon who was the big star of that night.

This, as you may have already imagined, was not just any Moon.

Why Blue Moon?

This was the second lunar phase repeated in the same month. As you can probably imagine, this doesn't happen very often. After all, we normally have four phases of the Moon on a calendar sheet.

So, we call this phenomenon the Blue Moon. It has nothing to do with her color, as many people commented (complainingly, imagine!) on social media.

Furthermore, it was also a Supermoon, when the full phase occurs during the closest proximity of the natural satellite to Earth.

On ordinary nights, the Moon is approximately 384,400 km away from us. However, on that Wednesday, it was 357,181 km away.

The stars say...

The Super Blue Moon took place in the sign of Pisces. Analyzing the other astrological movements that came with it, astrology points out that the phenomenon marked the beginning of a challenging period for all of us.

Have you felt more stressed and hungry in the last few days? It was her fault. We may also feel more impulse to buy more than we can afford. Also pay attention to your health — both physical and mental.

We may also notice the weight of the routine more and there is the possibility of finding ourselves more bogged down in work than normal, with more self-demand. Take a deep breath and remember to have your self-care moment, okay?

When will the next one be?

It depends. If we take into account astrologer Richard Nolle's table, we will have the Super Blue Moon again in the sky on February 9, 2024.

However, if we take into account the classification of NASA — which only considers the Supermoon when it is full — only on September 18, 2024.
