The affected beans, according to the ministry
Batch 51 (containing carioca beans) of the “Da Mamãe” brand;
Lot 06 (with black beans) from the brand “Da Mamãe”;
Lots 030423 and 080323 (black beans) of the “Sanes” brand.
The four lots mentioned above were found in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and in the Federal District (DF). According to Mapa, the products had a level of moldy and burned grains greater than 15%. This can cause damage to the health of consumers.

“These grains can contain mycotoxins that are harmful to the body, causing food poisoning and allergic reactions,” pointed out the director of the Department of Inspection of Products of Plant Origin, Hugo Caruso, in a text published on the website Consulta Public.
Also according to the report, the affected lots were discovered in an operation carried out by the folder in April this year. On that occasion, more than 150 tons of grain were seized in Rio de Janeiro.
I have one of these batches of beans at home, what do I do?
The Map's orientation is, first, to check if you have any of the products in your home or commercial establishment. If it has already been opened, consumption must be stopped immediately.
In addition, contact should be made with the place where the beanwas sold and warn about the batch with grains unfit for consumption.
Finally, if any consumer sees any of the lots mentioned above being sold in any trade in Brazil, the advice is to report it immediately.
