Encceja 2023: more than 1 million are enrolled in the exam

The Encceja 2023 received 1,104,146 million subscribers, according to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep). Data on the profile of candidates were informed this Wednesday (2) by the agency.

Of the total number of participants in this edition, 910.574 (82,47%) of those enrolled will take the high school assessment and 193,572 (17.53%) seek certification for elementary school.

The exam tests will be held on the day August 27.

Encceja is the National Examination for Certification of Youth and Adult Skills. The assessment is made for people who did not complete primary and secondary education at a regular age.

The purpose of the exam is to assess the skills, abilities and knowledge of young people and adults at the level of completion of primary and secondary education. Through evaluation, participants can receive certification of completion of these teaching stages.

Profile of Encceja 2023 subscribers

Among Encceja 2023 subscribers, most are made up of women. There are 613,097 candidates (55.53%) and 491,049 candidates (44.47%).

participants between 31 and 59 years represent 40.32% of the total subscribers (445,158).

The evaluation received 8,824 participants over 60 years old.

Who can participate in Encceja 2023

Encceja 2023 candidates can participate in the iminimum age Required by level of education:

  • Elementary School: Brazilians with 15 years or more on test day.

  • High school: Brazilians with 18 years or more on test day.

Encceja 2023 exams

Encceja 2023 exams will be applied on the 27th of August, four hours in the morning and five hours in the afternoon.

On the day of the exam, the gates will open, according to the period of realization of the test:

  • In the morning: They open at 8am and close at 8:45am.

  • The afternoon: They open at 2:30 pm and close at 3:15 pm.

The assessment is based on the Reference Matrices available on the Inep portal. Encceja contains four objective tests, based on the level of education (elementary and secondary). Each test consists of 30 objective questions..

What's new in the Encceja 2023 edition

Encceja 2023 has some new features compared to previous editions. Among them are:

  • people with Visual impairment may request the extended Answer Card option during the exam registration period.

  • People with mood disorder autistic spectrum will have specific correction of the wording.

  • Transvestite, transgender and transgender people with social name registered with the Federal Revenue will not have to send supporting documentation.

  • Approved specialized service reports from the 2022 edition will not need a new analysis in Encceja 2023.

When does the Encceja 2023 result come out?

The result of Encceja 2023 will be informed on the day December 22nd.

Candidates can access performance in the exam system. To be approved in Encceja is required:

  • take at least 100 points on objective tests;

  • get at least 5 points on essay average (The textual production score ranges from 0 to 10).

The calculation of the objective tests is done according to the Item Response Theory (IRT), the same methodology used in the National High School Examination (Enem).

O Encceja 2023 certificatemust be requested at the state departments of education or at the federal instituteswho took the exam. Participants can check the complete list of these places in Encceja's registration system.
