Brazil v France at the 2023 Women's World Cup

The duel between Brazil and France is the most anticipated in Group F at the 2023 Women's World Cup. The game can define which selection will be in first place in the group stage and thus decide the future distribution of duels in later stages.

It was the French who eliminated Brazil in the 2019 World Cup. The clash should not be easy, since Brazil has never beaten France in women's football.

Stars on the shirt of the Brazilian women's national team

At the 2023 Women's World Cup, the Brazilian women's team shirt will not have the five stars referring to the titles won by the men's team.

The initiative is part of the campaign "#ForFirstStar" of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).

With this, they reinforce the search for the first title and try to strengthen women's football by dissociating from men's modality.
