Who can claim an exemption?

Enem 2023 registration fee exemption can be requested in the following cases:

  • Students who are attending the last year of high school in 2023 in public schools duly listed in the School Census;
  • Who has already finished high school, but attended a public school or was a full scholarship holder in private educational institutions;
  • Candidates who have a per capita income equal to or less than the minimum wage;
  • Members of low-income and/or socially vulnerable families who are registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico).

It should be noted that all these provisions are contained in the Law No. 12,799 of 2013, which establishes the guidelines for exemption in the payment of registrations in selective processes for admission to federal educational institutions.

Even exempted, candidates should register for Enem 2023 normally. The registration period will be between July 5th and 16th of this year.

Who should justify the lack of Enem 2022?

The justification for absence in Enem 2022 must be made by all candidates who obtained exemption in the previous edition of the exam, but still did not attend to take the tests.

However, it is only necessary to justify if the defaulter decides to apply for exemption again this year. In these cases, it is necessary to access the Participant's Page and send the documentation required in the justification.

It is necessary to emphasize that only documents from the candidate will be accepted and that they are duly dated and signed.
