CNH renewal process faces changes
Several novelties will be implemented after the enactment of Law nº 14,599, with significant changes for drivers. In addition to changes in drug testing, the Brazilian Traffic Code (CTB) and other specific laws have also undergone changes.
The most notable aspect is the new rules that will be applied to obtain and renew the driver's license, affecting some modalities.
According to the text, the mandatory drug test started to be applied, but not for everyone. Only category C, D and E drivers need to be aware of this requirement when renewing their CNH.
