Extra FGTS payment
The extra credit available can be used as the worker wants. For example, money can be transferred to another account, used to pay off debts, pay for tickets or make purchases for goods and services.
It will also be possible to pay with cash at Caixa Tem by reading QR codes on card readers in physical stores. The amount available for the extraordinary withdrawal can be seen on the Caixa website or on the FGTS application.
If the worker does not wish to receive the amount, the credit will be returned to the account by December 15 of this year. In addition, in the case of automatic credit to a social account, it can also be canceled until November 10th. Anyone who does not want to withdraw the extraordinary amount must use the FGTS app or go to a Caixa branch and notify them of their decision.
FGTS extraordinary withdrawal calendar
In order to receive the value of the FGTS extraordinary withdrawal, the worker must be aware of the dates of birth that are in accordance with the liberalization. In this sense, those born in May had access to the value on May 14. As for those born in June, the value is available from May 18.
In addition, workers born in July and August, who will be the next to receive it, will be able to have the withdrawal amount on May 21 and 25, respectively.
