According to the report “The Future of Work 2023”, developed by the World Economic Forum in collaboration with Fundação Dom Cabral, some professions will continue to rise, while others may become obsolete due to automation and scanning.

About 69 million jobs are expected to be created over the next five years, however, 83 million careers could be affected. Areas linked to the economy and technology will likely continue to grow and will be considered essential. Given this, we present the professions that are becoming obsolete.

Careers threatened to disappear

Some careers are at risk of disappearing soon. Among them are:

  • Statisticians;
  • Legislators;
  • Accounting clerks;
  • Product and inventory registration assistants;
  • Administrative secretaries;

The research was based on statistical data collected from the LinkedIn and Coursera, in addition to the analysis of 803 companies around the world, which contributed to the results.

Average prices of courses that are on the rise

The price of technology courses in Brazil can vary depending on the type of course and the institution. Online platforms like Coursera and edX offer free options. For undergraduate courses, prices are between R$600 and R$3,500 per month, while for graduate and MBA courses, the amount can reach up to R$4,000 per month.

Shorter courses and certifications have more affordable prices, starting at R$100 and reaching up to R$2,000, varying according to the institution and region of the country. It is important to point out that the values ​​can fluctuate depending on the choice of institution.
