What will you need
For the homemade mix, you will only need two ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate;
- 150ml of water.
However, you will also need to consider the materials you will need to remove these stains. Some of these materials will be used for your safety, as mold can bring risks to your health, such as allergies. Use:
- 1 pair of plastic gloves;
- Protective goggles;
- Appropriate mask.
And to help with the task, you will need:
- 1 sprayer;
- 1 dry and soft cloth;
- Sponge or brush.
With the materials in hand and properly protected, let's get to work!
Removing the stains
First of all, when removing mold, it is very important to open the bathroom door and windows, if any, to allow more air flow. To start, make a mixture of 2 tablespoons of baking soda in 150ml of water, mixing well.
Now, add this mixture to the spray bottle, which will be your work tool. Therefore, you will spray the mixture on top of the stains. Making sure you've sprayed in all the spots, let the mixture sit on the stains for an hour.
