Three notices were provided by the defense Ministry about more than 100 vacancies available in the EMI(Military Engineering Institute), located in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
As announced, of the more than 100 vacancies available, around 90 are for individuals who wish to attend an undergraduate course, while around 10 are aimed at citizens who already have a completed graduation.

Of the total vacancies available for individuals who wish to complete the graduation, 80 are destined to military active, that is, those who aim to remain in the Army Brazilian, while the rest of the vacancies are reserved for those who do not wish to remain in the corporation.
However, those who already have their undergraduate degree will only have the option of joining if they choose to remain and build their careers in the Armed Forces.

With an initial salary of approximately R$8,200, the individual will undergo training, which will last for one year.

Regarding the undergraduate course, it will be five academic years, with the option of the following areas:

Who can join?
It is in the interest of the Armed Forces that the age group reaches the following ages:
• Maximum: 26 years – graduated engineers;
• Minimum: 16 years old – admission to undergraduate courses;
• Maximum: 21 years old – admission to undergraduate courses (reserve officers);
• Maximum: 22 years old – admission to graduation courses (active officers).
Application Process
The date stipulated as the deadline is until the 11th of July, by completing the form on the website.
A fee will be charged to officially register. The values would come between:
• R$140 (for admission to undergraduate courses);
• BRL 150 (for engineers who have already graduated).
Evidences
For those who wish to take the undergraduate course, the test will take place on September 25th. The contents involve mathematics, physics and chemistry.
Upon completion of the first stage, individuals will proceed to the second, which will take place in October and will have its tests divided into four days:
• Day 25: math test;
• Day 26: Physics test;
• Day 27: chemistry test;
• Day 28: test of Portuguese and English, in addition to writing.
Engineers who already have a degree will have an assessment within specific knowledge on October 26, and Portuguese and English on October 27.
