Intended to regulate the rights guaranteed to people aged 60 or over, the Statute of the Elderly is a social achievement and a reflection of the longevity of the country's population. The elderly represent 8.6% of our society and it is estimated that this proportion will reach 14% in 2025 (32 million).
The Statute of the Elderly course on the Escola Educação platform is designed to help professionals who deal with the elderly, and for them those who wish to know more about their rights, and thus gain more autonomy and independence to move forward in life with quality.
