Freemasons have always been surrounded by conspiracy theories. Throughout its existence, many people have speculated about what they did and the reason for their significantly high membership.

Apparently, the desire to be part of society was impressive, many “powerful” people, such as politicians, got involved with the organization. Despite speculation, there are fascinating, sometimes outlandish, stories about them and their legacy that remain unknown to many today.

Everything indicates that the society began to be formed in 1771, in England. In 1733 Freemasonry arrived in the city of Boston. In 1764, a place called the Green Dragon Tavern was acquired to be used as a meeting place.

In 1826 powerful political figures began to form part of the group, and this generated speculation, especially after William Morgan, a man related to Freemasonry who was kidnapped from prison and never more was seen.
