Therefore, it is also important to remember that a readjustment of this nature in the product has not happened in the last 152 days (about 5 months). In some parts of the country, the price of gas cylinders rose by R$12 in one day, reaching R$130.
Cooking gas price escalation with Brent oil
The fall in the price of cooking gas – a product that affects inflation, mainly in the pockets of those most need – comes after the rise in Brent oil prices and the appreciation of the dollar against the real in the last two years.

Reduction in the value of gas in April
So, on April 8, came the good news about the price of cheaper cooking gas. Petrobras announced a drop of R$ 0.25 per kilo in the sale price of the product sold.
As a result, the price paid by distributors for a 13 kg cylinder was reduced by R$ 3.27, from R$ 58.21 to R$ 54.94. In this way, with the fall, the value that has been in force since then should reflect positively on the consumer's pocket and on his financial planning.
