All courses offer a certificate to those who complete them and guarantee verification of authenticity. The certificate, incidentally, is forwarded to the student within 1 hour via the access app itself (WhatsApp or Telegram).
Sebrae has already trained more than 60,000 citizens through courses for couriers. This number only reflects the period from January to August of this year (2021). The goal is to provide subsidies for training entrepreneurs throughout Brazil.
According to information from the Canaltech portal, the new option for courses through messengers is an innovation. The goal, according to Sebrae, is to serve those who don't have much time and need practicality.
Courses rely on chatbots
The resource uses Artificial Intelligence through chatbots that interact with students. In addition, the contents bring videos, audios, images and texts of reduced size. Thus, it is possible to guarantee an interactive experience and quality teaching, only through the cell phone.
“Our surveys show that many people want to train themselves to leverage their businesses, but they don't have enough time. At the same time, we observe the potential that the applications have when used by many Brazilians”. That's what Sebrae's solutions manager, Diego Demetria, tells Canaltech.
In the view of the students, who leave their comments on the initiative, the courses are being used very well. The material is seen as dynamic and presents simple language, easy to assimilate.
Teaching via messaging apps is an idea that also brings accessibility. After all, access to the internet in Brazil is quite restricted and many only use it through their cell phones.
TIC Domicílios pointed out that, in 2019, 58% of the population accessed the internet exclusively via cell phone. The survey is from two years ago, before the current health crisis. That is, the number of people connected by cell phone increased even more.
