What would NuPay be?
NuPay is Nubank's online debit and credit payment method, developed to bring greater security to customers without providing their personal data to the store's website, for example.
In this way, this payment method offers merchants much lower rates and, therefore, there is a great chance of getting greater discounts on purchases.
Who is responsible for NuPay?
Spin Pay, created in 2018, gained visibility from fintechs for providing a payment solution practical and innovative, which focuses on customer needs and uses technology to integrate Pix into the retail.
As a result, this large company specializing in retail payment solutions ended up being sold to Nubank. Thus, for branding reasons, it was renamed NuPay For Business in March of this year, a system that allows the management of NuPay payment solutions.
Benefits of this model
For this service, one of the advantages is security, as the consumer does not need to provide his bank details to the virtual store. In addition, NuPay offers cash payments to customers of e-commerce partners by debiting Nubank accounts or in up to 24 interest-free installments.
In addition to being very beneficial to consumers, this means of payment is also very advantageous for shopkeepers. This is because NuPay was developed to generate greater sales, as the feature provides a better experience for customers.
In addition, the customer recognition index and the expansion of purchasing power were also improved, increasing the institutions' revenues.
Where can I use NuPay payment?
The NuPay service, according to Nubank itself, is present in more than 370 retailers throughout Brazil, such as, for example, Consul, Diageo, Positivo Tecnologia, Novo Mundo, Baw Clothing, Madesa Móveis, Naked Nuts and Lojinha do Nubank.
